Treavor Walton is a composer, producer, DJ, A&R associate for a digital online label, and founding member of Moontribe. He's also a member of the famed Amani vs. Teapot, collaborator of the Desert Dwellers and a well known event promoter. Treavor was born in L.A. and began his musical career performing guitar in local bands as a teenager. in 1993 he discovered an underground rave scene that quickly fueled his musical talents in another: producing electronic music and experimenting with different musical tools beyond the guitar. During that same year, Treavor co-founded Moontribe. Its mission was to create an alternative dance space for the then strugglingL.A. underground DJ community.   Today, Moontribe has become a leading nameas one of LA's most recognized tribal dance-music-promotion teams, cultivating the presence of many of today's top DJs in the global underground scene with continued success of over 12 years.  Having built a reputation uniquely his Trevor began traveling all over North America, participating in events such as The Shambhala Festival in Canada, Free Form Productions in Hamburg, Germany, and in Morocco for New Years 2001.  In 2002 he became a Resident at Green Sector events based in LA. Treavor is known for his blending of PsyTrance to chunky supercharged Breaks flowing over toa Progressive-Tribal House sound all while smoothing out even the thickest edges with grooving down-tempo ambiances.  Treavor now resides in Los Angeles after spending the last 2 years in San Fransisco as the Artist & Repertoire associate for INgrooves; a leading digital label and technology company.   With 12 years with Moontribe, nearly 20 years of making music, 250+   parties under his belt and a new project in the works, DJ Treavor is a name that will always be looked to for high quality music.
