Swiss-Canadian producer and DJ Matthias Beeguer (aka Sunbyte) is among the pioneers who brought LA's underground sound of Psychedelic Trance to the main stream. Since his debut at after-hours club Insomnia, Matthias became an instant resident with bookings to follow throughout the Los Angeles area. Performing at the Mayan Theater, Arena, Club Red, Avalon, Circus, and Spundae alongside internationally celebrated Dj’s and artists.  He currently makes regular appearances at underground outdoor events including Greensector Gatherings, Earthdance, and on the Playa at Burning Man.  His style is a unique blend of high-energy beats, progressive depth, and uplifting harmonies which create a truly unique sonic experience. In 2006 he transitioned to creating music of his own under the alias Sunbyte. Drawing on his roots from the dance-floor, Matthias translates his experiences through sound, always pushing his music to another dimension.
