Born and raised in the Bahamas, Derrie Malone came to L.A. In 2003 to live with his wife. Just a few months later he attended a Dance for Peace gathering at Venice Beach organized by Green Sector & Moontribe. After meeting the people involved and attending a few more events he eventually became part of the team. His creative carpentry skills and ability to get things done quickly have become an invaluable asset. When set up time is short and the goal is to build a unique and engaging environment, Derrie is the man to call. Being exposed to the music has also inspired him to create tracks of his own.
